Day 1: Saigon/ Hochiminh – Arrival (-/-/-)
Welcome to Saigon/ Hochiminh City, Vietnam !
Meet upon arrival at Hochiminh/ Tan Son Nhat International Airport, transfer to the hotel for check in. The rest of the day is at leisure.
Accommodation in Saigon/ Hochiminh city. Check - in time at 2.00pm.
Day 2: Saigon – Cuchi tunnels (B/L/-)
Drive to Cu Chi tunnels. At its height, the tunnel system stretched from Saigon to Cambodian border and was three levels deep. There are more than 200km of underground tunnels, consisting of a main axis system with many branches connecting to underground hideouts, shelters and other tunnels. The remaining tunnels have become a major tourist attraction giving the visitor a unique experience and a feel of what underground life in the war must have been like.
Discover Hochiminh city (formerly Saigon), the biggest economic center in the country: visit Opera house, Notre Dame cathedral and Post Office, China town, Thien Hau pagoda, a lacquer atelier. Overnight in Saigon.

Day 3: Saigon – Mekong Delta – Danang - Hoian (B/L/-)
After breakfast, check out of the hotel and set out on an excursion to My Tho in Mekong Delta.
Enjoy a 2 hour scenic drive passing paddy fields and tributaries. On arrival, board your motorized boat for a river cruise on the upper part of the Mekong River where you will experience a taste of agriculture life, visiting a fish-raising village before entering the Vam Xep canal with its beautiful scenery. Disembark the boat, stroll around the Quoi An fruit orchard and take a horse-drawn cart ride along the village road. Upon arrival at Ben Truc Phong Phu garden, sample Mekong delta fruit while enjoy local traditional music.
Your trip will end with a row boat to explore the water palm canals before returning to the main boat and transferring back to My Tho.
Enjoy lunch at the Mekong Rest stop restaurant serving Mekong specialties.
Drive back to Saigon and transfer directly to Saigon Airport for your flight to Danang.
Pick-up at Danang airport, then proceed to Hoian. Check-in at hotel. Overnight in Hoian.
Day 4: Hoian - Hue (B/L/-)
After breakfast, discover Hoian ancient town, known to early Western merchants, the city was one of the major trading centers of South East Asia in the 16th century. Hoian has a distinctive Chinese atmosphere with low, tiled-roof houses and narrow streets. Many of the houses were constructed of rare timbers and decorated with lacquer panels engraved with Chinese characters and pillars carved with ornamental designs. Visit historic merchants and community houses, places of worship and Japanese covered bridge, Hoian central market.
Depart for Danang. The scenic 2h30 drive via Hai Van (Clouds) pass offers spectacular views of mountains, the sea, idyllic beaches and villages.
We continue further north to the charming historic city of Hue. Check in at hotel. Overnight in Hue.
Day 5: Hue Discovery (B/L/-)
We start the day with a relaxing boat trip on the Perfume River to discover Thien Mu pagoda, the wonderful architectural structures for religious worship in Hue. Then we discobver the mausoleum of Khai Dinh Emperor.
Enjoy a delicious lunch at local restaurant to taste the local cuisine in Hue.
Afterwards, explore Hue, the former Royal city of the 13 ruling Nguyen dynasties: visit the Imperial Citadel and Forbidden city and Dong Ba market.
Return to hotel for relax. Leisure time. Accommodation in Hue.
Day 6: Hue – Hanoi (B/L/-)
Morning flight to Hanoi.
Meet on arrival at Hanoi Airport, transfer to Hanoi centre city for touring:
Long Bien Bridge, French colonial quarter, Hanoi Opera, Museum of Fine arts, Saint Joseph Cathedral. Lunch at local restaurant.
Then explore Hoan Kiem lake and a short walk in Hanoi Old quarter.
Attend a traditional performance of water puppet show. Overnight in Hanoi.
Day 7: Hanoi - Hoa Lu - Van Long (B/L/-)
Depart for Hoa Lu, 100 km south of Hanoi. Hoa Lu was the capital of Vietnam Kingdom during 968 – 1010. Upon arrival, we visit the Dinh and Le temples dedicated to Dinh and Le dynasties.
Then drive to Van Long for lunch at local restaurant.
Afterward, enjoy an amazing cruise to explore Van Long natural reserve for watching the wildlife.
Ride a bike to discover the life of local people in the surrounding villages.
Check – in at Emeralda Resort. Leisure time. Overnight at Emeralda Resort.
Day 8: Ninh Binh – Hai Phong - Cat Ba Island - Lan Ha Bay (B/L/D)
After breakfast, we leave Ninh Binh province crossing the Red River Delta on the N10 road that connects the delta provinces such as Ninh Binh, Nam Dinh, Thai Binh and Hai Phong.
Departure to Halong Bay, 160 km east of Hanoi.
At noon, embark aboard a cruise ship to discover the 8th "wonder of the world" since 1994 recognized by UNESCO. The film "Indochina" was shot there in 1991 with Catherine Deneuve.
We explore the southern part of Halong Bay named Lan Ha Bay in the vicinity of Cat Ba Island. This part is endowed with more grandiose landscapes and less touristy than Halong bay
Lunch with seafood sailing through the labyrinth of karstic peaks that shelter the beautiful caves and small beaches with turquoise water.
Swimming possible if time permits. Dinner and overnight on board.
Day 9: Cat Ba Island – Hanoi (B/L/-)
Continue our excursion until lunch.
12h00 disembark at Baichay pier. Drive back to Hanoi for 01 night more. Overnight in Hanoi.
Day 10: Hanoi – Departure (B/-/-)
Breakfast at hotel
Transfer to Hanoi/ Noibai International Airport for flight to go home. Tour ends.
