Itinerary: Hanoi – Hue – DMZ - Danang - Hoian - QuiNhon - Nha Trang – Dalat - Cu Chi - Hochiminh
Day 1: Hanoi-Arrival (-/-/-)
Meet on arrival at Hanoi Intl airport and transfer to hotel for check-in.We will discover the capital Hanoi:French opera, Joseph cathedral, Indochina’s bank, Ngoc Son temple and Hoan Kiem lake.Stroll aroud the old quarter before attending the water pupets. Accommodation in Hanoi.
Day 2: Hanoi (B/-/-)
Continue to explore Hanoi by visiting One pillar pagoda, Museum of ethnology, Tran Quoc pagoda, Temple of Literature, Army Museum.Time at leisure.Accommodation in Hanoi.
Day 3: Hanoi - Hue (B/-/-)
Leisure time until transfer to Hanoi airport for flight to Hue, the former Royal city of the 13 ruling dynasties. Visit the Imperial citadel and recal the battle in Hue during the Tet offensive, when the North Vietnam army held the city for 3 weeks. Accommodation in Hue.
Day 4: Hue - Khe Sanh - Vinh Moc – Hue (B/-/-)
Discover the DMZ to learn the battle field with American bases as Rock Piles, Camp Carol and Khe Sanh. Continue to see the war-torn ruins of Quang Tri Church, the wreckages of American tank, visit Vinh Moc tunnels, dug to accommodate an underground village safe from American air raids in the north of the DMZ.We will cross through Hien Luong bridge, the former border line between the North and South Vietnam at 17th parallel,the site of Doc Mieu artillery base on the way to Dong Ha.Drive back to Hue.Accommodation in Hue.
Day 5: Hue – Danang (B/-/-)
Depart Hue for Danang, visit the Marble Mountain en route.Upon arrival, discover the Cham’s culture with Cham museum.Enjoy the beach where US marines first came ashore, beginning American involvement in Indochina.Leisure time and check-in at hotel.Accommodation in Danang.
Day 6: Danang – Chu Lai – Qui Nhon (B/-/-)
Drive to Hoian, visit Japanese bridge, ancient houses as Phuc Kien and Tan Ky. Discovery on foot Hanoi. Proceed to Chu Lai air base. Travel to Son My district to learn more about My Lai incident. Accommodation in Qui Nhon.
Day 7: Qui Nhon – Nha Trang (B/-/-)
Depart for Nha Trang, known as headquarters of the US fifth Special Forces.Leisure time.Check-in at hotel. Overnight in Nha Trang.
Day 8: Nha Trang – Dalat (B/-/-)
Excursion by boat to discover Bamboo island for snorkeling, Mieu island for seeing a fish breeding farm, Ponagar Cham’s tower. Drive to Dalat famous as an ideal place for French authorities. Check in at hotel and leisure time. Overnight in Dalat.
Day 9: Dalat - Hochiminh city (B/-/-)
Drive to Hochiminh city.Visit a silk farm and mulberry plantations on the way.Upon arrival in Hochiminh, check-in at hotel.Overnight in Hochiminh.
Day 10: Hochiminh city – Cu Chi (B/-/-)
Depart for Phu Loi base located at Phu Cuong town, it used to relocate villagers during 1960’s.Visit the 503rd Airbone Brigade, the bases of 173rd Airbone, 11th Armored Cavalry.Proceed to Dau Tieng reservoir through Ben Suc and visit Cao Dai temple in Tay Ninh.Discover Cu Chi tunnels known as VC invincible bases.Drive back to Hochiminh city for accommodation.
Day 11: Hochiminh (B/-/-)
Discover Hochiminh city, '' formerly Pearl of Orient'': Post office, Notre Dame Cathedral, former presidentiel Palace, museum of war and china town.Time for shoppings.
Day 12: Hochiminh - ---(B/-/-)
Time at leisure until transfer to Tan Son Nhat airport for departure flight.End of services.
