Itineray: Hanoi - Babe - Cao Bang - Lang Son - Halong
Day 1: Hanoi - Arrival (-/-/-)
Meet on arrival at Hanoi International airport and transfer to the hotel for check-in. Afternoon, we will visit: Temple of Literature, one Pillar pagoda, Hoan Kiem lake and Ngoc Son temple, short walk in the Old Quarter. In the evening, attend a performance of the famous traditional art of water pupets at Thang Long theatre. Accommodation in Hanoi.
Day 2: Hanoi - BaBe (B/-/-)
Breakfast at hotel. Depart for Babe lake (350km from Hanoi) through Thai Nguyen, Bac Kan provinces. Enjoy the beautiful landscapes of Vietnamese countryside. Arrival in the park, take a boat trip to access to the village of Tay people. Check-in at Tay house in BaBe National Park. Accommodation at Tay’s house.
Day 3: Ba Be trek (B/L/D)
Simple breakfast. 8.00 am discover the lake BaBe by boat-one of four natural parks across the country. During the trip, visit the beautiful cave Puong, waterfall Dau Dang, natural swimming pool-Ao Tien. You have to prepare lunch pique-nique. We start to trek to other Tay village located at 1000m over the sea level. Dinner and accommodation at Tay’s house.
Day 4: Ba Be trek (B/L/D)
We continue our trek through the park. Lunch picnic. We enjoy a boat trip. Drop off at the wharf of the park. Drive back to Cho Ra town. Check-in at guest house. Dinner and accommodation.
Day 5: Ba Be - Cao bang (B/-/-)
Depart for Cao Bang province. Visit some ethnic minorities villages on the way. Check-in at hotel. Time at leisure.Accommodation in Cao Bang.
Day 6: Cao Bang (B/-/-)
Depart for PacPo, 54 km northwest of Cao Bang, near chinese border. Discover grottoe Pacpo and surroundings areas where Uncle Ho had lead Vietnamese people to their independance. Then proceed to Ban Gioc, the most magnificent waterfall in the region. Drive back to Cao Bang. Accommodation.
Day 7: Cao Bang - Lang Son (B/-/-)
We take the route NR4A to Lang Son via Dong Khe, That Khe which were battle - field between Vietminh and French troops in 1950's. This victory over French army allowed Vietminh to control all corridor border with China and then to other northeast provinces during 1950-1953. Visit Lang Son town with Tam Thanh pagoda-grotto, Dong King market. Check-in at hotel. Accommodation in Lang Son.
Day 8: Lang Son - Halong (B/L/D)
Depart for Halong bay via rural region such as Lang Son, Bac Ninh...Enjoy most beautiful landscapes in the countryside: rice fields, letchis, longan trees... At 12:00 we boat a traditional junk to discover Halong bay, listed World Heritage for its Outstanding beauty by UNESCO in 1994. Lunch with fresh seafood while cruising through the bay. Relax on the deck. Visit one natural grotto. Dinner and overnight on board.
Day 9: Halong - Hanoi (B/L/-)
Visit a small swimming pool in the bay. Continue to cruise until lunch.12:00 disembark at the pier and return to Hanoi. Check-in at hotel. Time at leisure. Accommodation in Hanoi.
Day 10: Hanoi - Departure (B/-/-)
Breakfast at hotel. Free time until transfer to Hanoi International Airport for departure flight or extension tour.End of services.
