Discovered by French people in the earlier 20th century, Sapa was built with Western architectural influences: Church, administrative quarter, residences...Nowadays, Sapa becomes more popular to visitors around the world with ethnic minorities, magnificent landscapes. Come to discover Sapa and its highest mountain Fansipan.
Itinerary: Hanoi - LaoCai - Sapa - Fansipan
Day 1: Hanoi - LaoCai (-/-/-)
Pick up at your hotel and transfer to Hanoi train Station, take the train night for Lao Cai. Overnight trip to Lao Cai. Train departs at 22.00 and arrive at Lao Cai railway station at appro. 5.30am.
Day 2: Lao Cai - Sapa (B/-/-)
Early morning arrival at Lao Cai, the border town to Yunnan. Drive on winding roads up the mountains brings you to Sapa, approximately 1,500 m above sea level. On clear days, you can see the highest mountain of Vietnam, the Fansipan. Breakfast at hotel. Time at leisure to relax and enjoy the beautiful landscape from your balcony. Accommodation in Sapa.
Day 3: Sapa - Fansipan (B/L/D)
Briefing about the tour and transfer to the foot of Fansipan near CatCat village. Climbing up to the height of 1,000 m, visit H’mong village with about 90 residences. Trekking through a bamboo forest to the height of 1,500 m. Lunch box en route. Continue our road via a protoplastic forest to 2,100 m height. Dinner and camping on site.
Day 4: Fansipan (B/L/D)
Continue climbing to reach the top of the highest mount of Tonkin (3,143m) at around noon. Taking photos of the panoramic view and relax. Lunch on site. Climb down back and spend the 2nd night at height of 2,100 m appro. Dinner and camping on site.
Day 5: Fansipan – Sapa (B/L/-)
Continue trekking down. The fresh air of the jungle and splendid scenery from the Fansipan make you forget the rough terrain and the journey the most memorial one. Lunch en route. Arrive at the starting point at about 5:00pm and then transfer to the hotel for check-in. Time at leisure. Accommodation at hotel in Sapa.
Day 6: Sapa - Laocai - Hanoi (B/-/-)
Transfer to Lao Cai railway station where you take the day train to Hanoi at 10.20am. Arrival in Hanoi at 20h30. Transfer to the hotel for check–in (accommodation in Hanoi is not included). End of services.
